*Insurance

I do not accept insurance, however, most PPO insurance plans will cover a percentage of services out-of-network. At the end of each month you will receive an email with a receipt for services (a superbill) that includes all the information needed for you to submit a claim to your insurance company. If you choose to use your out-of-network benefits you can submit a claim to your insurance company. It is not guaranteed that services provided will be covered by your specific insurance provider about your specific insurance plan. For information about reimbursement rates, contact your insurance provider about your specific out-of-network benefits. Here are some helpful questions to ask your health insurance representative to clarify your out-of-network benefits:

  • Does my coverage include mental health services?
  • Does my coverage include seeing an out-of-network provider?
  • What is my deductible and must it be met before mental health services are covered?
  • How many session per year are covered by my health plan?
  • What is the amount of coverage per therapy session?
  • Do I need a referral from my primary care physician to access my out-of-network benefits?

About Dr. Sherri

Just so you know a little about me, I'm married with three teenagers with medical and special needs. Our family has had their share of trials and difficulties. So, I get it. Sometimes, we need a little extra help one-on-one with a professional and that's where I come in! I love to help people become the best version of themselves! In addition to being a psychologist I am also a trained leadership coach with the John Maxwell Team who helps my clients become more of who they were uniquely designed to be.

I am based in Ohio (but certified to provide teleheath in several states) and specialize in clinical psychology. Many of the clients I work with are dealing with Depression, Anxiety, Trauma (crime, natural disaster, or child abuse), OCD, ADHD, or other major life stressors.

Having a doctorate and years of additional education, I've received training and certifications in several therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavior Treatment, Trauma-Focused CBT, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and others. I want to be able to have a variety of resources to use to best help my clients.

I also run an international non-profit working with orphaned children around the world trying to make a difference in the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children. With the John Maxwell Team, we provide trainings all over the United States and around the world to both youth and adults on leadership and personal growth. My life is full but I love what I do, and I love being able to help others become better people.

I will partner and collaborate with local public/private schools, churches, juvenile courts, and community or business groups to provide staff training, consultation, and workshops on various mental health topics, as well as, leadership development for youth and adults. . Email me if you'd like to learn more about what keynotes or workshops I can offer your school or organization.
